  1. 01What this site is

codehero.co is a company site with two forms on it. There is no account to create, no product to log into, and no part of this site that tracks you between visits in order to sell you something later.

  2. 02What we collect

From the forms: your name, work email, company, the description of your system and anything else you type into the free-text fields. From the request itself: your IP address and browser user-agent string, which the server needs to rate-limit spam. That is the whole list.

  3. 03Why we hold it

To answer you, and to work out whether we can help with the system you described. That is a step towards a contract you asked us to take, which is the legal basis we rely on under the GDPR (Article 6(1)(b), with 6(1)(f) covering the spam controls).

  4. 04Who else sees it

Submitted requests go into our own intake system, which we run ourselves, and are read by our engineers. They are not sold, not shared with advertising networks or data brokers, and not enriched by any third-party contact database. The site runs on our own infrastructure behind Cloudflare, so Cloudflare handles the connection in transit.

  5. 05Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies of its own. Your language lives in the URL rather than in a cookie, and if you switch the theme that choice is kept in your browser under codehero-theme and never leaves your device. Traffic is counted with Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies. Blocking it costs you nothing here.

  6. 06Errors

When a page breaks, a report goes to Sentry with the URL, the browser version and a stack trace, so we find out about it without waiting for someone to complain. Session replay is switched off, so what you type into a form is not recorded.

  7. 07How long we keep it

Requests stay for 24 months after the last message between us, then get deleted. If a project starts, the working files live under whatever the contract says instead. Server logs with IP addresses roll over within 30 days.

  8. 08Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold on you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to us holding it at all, or ask for it in a portable format. Send the request through the form on this site and it will be handled within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

  9. 09Changes

The date at the top of this page changes when the text does. There is no separate notification, because we hold no mailing list to send one to.

  10. 10Contact

Everything above goes through the form at codehero.co/contact. It reaches people, not a ticketing robot.
